DR. SAMANTHA FECICH (aka, Dr. Sam), a college education professor, author, and podcast host, joined us to discuss how she prepares students for the real world in the teaching profession, her books, and the podcasts that she releases to help all in the education community.

"Dr. Samantha Fecich is a professor of education at Grove City College where she teaches future teachers about educational technology and special education. She is also a student-teacher university supervisor in the special education department. Dr. Fecich is also the author of EduMagic: A guide for preservice teachers, Co-author of EduMagic Shine On: A Guide for New Teachers, and co-creator of the Edumagic future teacher digital planner and student teacher binder. 

Lastly, Dr. Sam is the host of the EduMagic podcast, a podcast designed for future teachers. She is fueled by pumpkin spice lattes and a passion for raising up the next generation of teachers to become educators of excellence with EduMagic."

On today's "Dr. Paul's Family Talk" show, we spoke to Christian author, LIBBIE HALL. Libbie discussed her latest release, "Five: The Women in the Genealogy of Jesus", continuing today with Mary.

Libbie is an author, blogger and speaker. She is married to Brian and they have 3 children and two dogs. She has been leading worship for over twenty years as a Worship Director and Creative Arts Pastor. Prior to her time in ministry she was a Global Career Development Facilitator and the Director of Career Services at a university.

Libbie is a self proclaimed storyteller, and loves to present the Bible in a way that compels people to live their life as God has purposed. Although she is in Michigan now she grew up in Southern California and also spent a few years in central Texas. She loves living a life that takes her wherever God leads her.

RICHARD CAPRIOLA, a mental health and addictions counselor from Texas, stopped by to discuss his latest release, "The Addicted Child - A Parent's Guide to Adolescent Substance Abuse".

"Richard Capriola spent 11 years working as an addictions counselor for Menninger Clinic in Houston Texas before retiring in 2019. Menninger Clinic is one of the top ten psychiatric hospitals in the United States and specializes in the assessment, stabilization and treatment of adults and adolescents with substance abuse and psychiatric disorders.

​During his tenure there he worked in the Adolescent Treatment program and the adult Comprehensive Psychiatric Assessment and Stabilization program. Working closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and nurses he was responsible for comprehensive assessments and individual and group counseling with patients diagnosed with substance use disorders."
