BRIAN HORNER, a musician, artist manager, entrepreneur, and podcast host, joined us to discuss his career, how to be successful in music, and his latest venture, "Craft brewed Music".
From his BIO:
"Driven to live his passion, Brian Horner has designed a multifaceted career as an artist manager, saxophonist, educator, author, and entrepreneur. Brian is the owner of Sound Artist Support, is CEO/CCO of Craft Brewed Music®, “the small batch streaming app,” hosts The Craft Brewed Music Podcast, and has authored a series of books for Kendall Hunt Publishing, Living The Dream…The Morning After Music School, Living The Dream…The Morning After Drama School (with David Alford), and Living The Dream…The Morning After Art School (with John Watson). 
He presents music business and entrepreneurship lectures and saxophone clinics at colleges and conservatories around the country. Horner has appeared at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall, Steinway Hall, and New York City's Mannes College of Music, as well as at the Glimmerglass Opera's Young Artist recital series in Cooperstown, NY, and has performed with the Nashville Symphony, the Nashville Chamber Orchestra, and the Gateway Chamber Orchestra. He has premiered more than a dozen new works for saxophone, and his recordings with pianist Elizabeth Avery include Saxophone Music of M. Zachary Johnson--Live At Steinway Hall, and Serenade – Music for Saxophone & Piano, and garnered a cover feature in Saxophone Journal. "

STEPHANIE RYAN, working in Science with her Ph.D, M.S., and B.S., has started an Instagram page to help parents to educate their kids in Science! The page, "Let's Learn About Science", is filled with lessons and activities for all!
From her BIO:
"Stephanie Ryan has a strong background in chemistry and biology and enjoys applying her background to develop superior educational products. She is also interested in how mathematics and science intertwine. Stephanie Ryan has experience in curriculum development, assessment, and training staff how to use technology and software. Stephanie Ryan has taught science in formal and informal settings from K-16, and developed curricula for After School Matters programs in Chicago, Illinois.
Stephanie Ryan earned her Ph.D. in the Learning Sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She has an M.S. and B.S. in chemistry, from the University of Illinois at Chicago and Saint Mary’s College, respectively."

DR. HERMAN WILLIAMS, a physician and medical administrator from Nashville, Tennessee, and also the author of "CLEAR! Living the Life You Didn't Dream Of", joined us for an open and quite honest conversation on the topics of diversity and inclusion in America today.

"Herman helped launch and serves as the leader of the healthcare advisory practice in BDO’s Nashville office. His experience includes 10 years of previous healthcare consulting and 18 years of hospital operations as a senior physician executive. Dr. Williams’ operational roles include oversight of Rural, Urban, Small and Complex facilities; Academic, Community, For Profit, and Non Profit healthcare organizations.
Herman brings a special expertise in medical staff consulting and strategy. He has worked with numerous physicians to improve their efficiency in meeting compliance and regulatory standards. He has also assisted medical staffs in Bylaws development, Contemporary Peer Review policy and procedures, all Credentialing matters, Clinical Documentation, Revenue Cycle efficiency, and establishing Physician – Hospital partnerships that have reduced costs through collaboration. He participated in the original Bundle Payment Demonstration Project and has saved hospitals millions of dollars by establishing successful P4P programs.
Herman is the author of a new motivational book called, “CLEAR! Living The Life You Never Dreamed Of”. He is a certified coach with the International Coach Federation (ICF) and has successfully coached numerous physicians and hospital leaders.
Herman saves time to give back to his community by serving on the American Heart Association Board and the Tri-State Minority Supplier Development Council. He has given numerous speeches on leadership at institutions such as Harvard University, Boston University, Meharry Medical College, Amherst College, and San Diego State University."
