NEIL KITCHING, a geography graduate from Scotland, an accountant and auditor for twenty years, and now working as an energy specialist, joined us to discuss energy, the environment, the climate, trees, recycling, industry, and all things that involve solutions for our planet, plus we discussed his latest release, "Carbon Choices: Common-sense Solutions to our Climate and Nature Crises".

FROM HIS WEBSITE:
"This book is about people. It is for those who care; care for their communities, care for nature, care for people living today that they will never meet and care for future generations.

This book will help businesses and consumers to influence governments to set the right regulatory framework; to encourage businesses to offer consumers better choices; and to empower individuals to make better choices for our climate and for wildlife.

I felt compelled to write this book to see if I can, in my own small way, help people to make the changes that we need to prevent humans from causing climate change and destroying wildlife.
Carbon Choices will help businesses and consumers to influence governments to set tight regulations; will encourage businesses to offer consumers better choices; and will empower individuals to make better choices for our climate and for wildlife."

MARTIN SAWA, a former real estate broker, operator, and developer, who turned to writing screenplays and essays in 2013, will join us to discuss his latest release, "The Other Side of Success: Money and Meaning in the Golden State" his memoir of his career and personal life.

FROM HIS WEBSITE:
"As Sawa pushed his career forward—making bigger deals at each painstaking step up—he had one hand on the prize he’d dreamed of for years. But with stress driving him to alcoholism and poor choices, it took tragedy to force him to confront the true cost of his sacrifices. Was the financial wealth worth the price of his soul?

Laid out in an intimate and passionate memoir, Sawa’s honest appraisal of his wins and losses in a volatile time of technological, social, and political change reveals an intensely personal challenge. Serving as a reminder of what really matters in the single-minded grind for excellence, his struggles to be his best self help the rest of us understand that we’re often exactly where we’re meant to be.

The Other Side of Success: Money and Meaning in the Golden State is a raw, in-depth look into a man with something to prove. If you like insider insights into high-level business, overcoming racial boundaries, and the fragile balance between prosperity and ruin, then you’ll love Martin Sawa’s emotional rollercoaster."
